The Re-Loved Club seller’s pack soho theatre

We're so glad you're selling with us. Here's everything you need to know to make the day a brilliant one - for you and your buyers.

ADDRESS

Soho Theatre, 186 Hoe Street, London, E17 4QH

WI-FI

Network: Soho Theatre Public Wifi - no password needed, just connect and go.

SET-UP

Sellers are welcome to arrive from 10am to set up, with doors open to the public at 11am. Please use the main entrance on Hoe Street to load in. We're working to a tight schedule, so we kindly ask that you don't arrive before 10am. If you do find yourself early - Today Bread will be open.

SALE DURATION

The sale runs from 11am to 4pm. We've tried various timings over the years and this slot consistently works best for both sellers and buyers. By booking a pitch, you agree to stay for the full duration - pack-down doesn't begin until 4pm. If you need to leave on the dot or a little earlier, please let us know in advance so we can plan your pitch placement accordingly.

UNLOADING & PARKING

All loading into the venue is through the front door on Hoe Street. Please bear in mind there are double yellow lines and a zebra crossing directly outside, so please don't stop there.

If you're arriving by car or taxi, Cairo Road is your drop-off point.

Taxis can also use Hatherley Mews, though Cairo Road is the better option (cars in Hatherley Mews need to be attended at all times). For parking, paid spaces are available at 17&Central, with additional spots listed on yourparkingspace.com. Please be aware that this area is a traffic warden hotspot.

RAILS & HANGERS

If you've booked a pitch with a rail, it will be set up and labelled with your name on arrival.

Please note:

  • All rails come without hangers (if you’ve booked them, they will be on your rail when you arrive).

  • Limited bundles of velvet hangers are available to rent

  • these must be booked in advance.

  • No spare hangers will be available on the day.

  • Less is more! Curate your rail thoughtfully rather than cramming it full.

  • You're welcome to bring bags, accessories and shoes, please display them on or below your rail.

  • A note on shoes: they can be hit and miss due to the buyer needing to be the right size, so we'd suggest not bringing too many.

  • Please keep the area around your rail tidy, no open piles, and tuck your bag behind your rail (there will be space to store your bags on the day).

  • Unfortunately, you're not able to bring additional, tables or stools. Space is limited and it doesn't work for the flow of the room.

PITCH ALLOCATION

We put a lot of care into curating the space, and all pitch positions are planned in advance. If there's a friend selling that you'd like to be placed next to, please let us know as soon as possible and we'll do our best to accommodate. Your pitch will be labelled with your name. Please bring a pen to fill in your payment information on the day.

WHAT CAN I SELL?

Clothes, shoes and accessories only - womenswear, menswear and kidswear are all welcome. We don't allow bric-a-brac, cosmetics or books.

PRICE LABELS

If you’re able to, please price your items before you arrive. We suggest including the size, price and your name on each label in case anything gets separated from your rail. Limited bundles of 20 labels are available for £2, these can be purchased in advance online or picked up at the front entrance on the day if you need extras.

CHANGING ROOM

There will be full-length mirrors throughout the main space. The toilets will double as our changing rooms on the day. We will also have a small changing room set up on the top floor.

Please direct customers to the toilets to try items on, and liaise with them directly so they know to return items to you. We encourage people to try on in small bursts rather than touring the whole room, there will be a sign reminding customers of a 5-item limit in the changing rooms.

TAKING PAYMENTS

Sellers typically take payment via PayPal, cash, bank transfer or card reader. You can also set up a Square account to take card payments directly on your phone without a physical reader (a small transaction fee applies).

Don't feel obliged to get a card reader, most sellers manage just fine without. Your pitch label will have space for you to write up your accepted payment methods.

Nearest cashpoint: HSBC on Hoe Street, right next door to the venue.

TIPS FOR SELLING

Pricing Strategy

Price items at whatever feels right for you to let them go at, trust your instincts on what each piece is worth. As the day progresses, consider dropping prices a little to encourage final sales.

Energy & Engagement

Your energy is contagious. Think of your pitch like a shop - a smile, eye contact and a friendly hello make all the difference. That openness is what draws people in and makes them feel welcome to look around.

Tell the Stories

Share the stories behind your pieces. These details transform secondhand clothes into pieces with history and that's exactly what makes them sell.

The Re-Loved Club is brilliant for decluttering, but it works best as one tool in your arsenal rather than a complete solution. Come with realistic expectations, good energy, and enjoy the day!

POWER & CHARGING

There are power sockets around the space, feel free to charge your phone throughout the day. Please note that portable steamers are not permitted.

TOILETS

Plenty of toilets are available in the main space.

SEATING

Chairs will be available around the space for your use throughout the day.

REFRESHMENTS

Soho Theatre's coffee shop and upstairs bar will both be open, serving a full drinks menu alongside pizzas, pastries, toasties and snacks. Every purchase goes a long way.

Please don't feel like you can't step away from your stand, staying fed and hydrated matters more than any single sale. Your neighbours will keep an eye on things while you're gone.

WATER

Please bring a refillable water bottle - the Soho team will be happy to top you up throughout the day.

MUSIC

We'll have music on the day courtesy of Nia Roberts @sixpencil5

FILMING

We capture video content during the sale for our social channels. If you'd prefer not to be filmed, just let us know and we'll make sure to keep you out of frame.

SALES TALLY

Please keep a rough tally of how many items you sell and how much you make. You can keep your answers anonymous when sharing. It helps us understand how successful the day has been and where we can improve.

DONATIONS

We're hoping to have a donation drop-off point on the day, we'll confirm this closer to the time. Any donations will be collected by Age UK Waltham Forest.

BEFORE YOU LEAVE

Please place all rubbish in the bins provided. Take any cardboard or shoe boxes away with you. If you've rented hangers, please check in with one of us before you go so we can count them back in.

AFTER-EVENT SURVEY

We're always looking at how we can make The Re-Loved Club better, and your feedback is genuinely invaluable. We'll send out a short survey after the event. We'd really appreciate you taking a few minutes to fill it in.

See you on the day! Paula and Vicky
